A symbol used through multiple disciplines to express the tolerance or standard deviation of a set of values. In medicine - with or without. In botany - more or less. In the case of British band, Joy Division - a vinyl release showcasing their singles from 1978 - 1980. In all instances, whether science or music - it reflects the variation we find in everyday instances.

Plus Minus Design Studio follows in the idea of adjusting the tolerances depending on the circumstance. Following this principal allows for options; through design choices and in the services offered. Not all projects require the same level of detail in design drawings and not all projects require a licensed contractor to carry out the task. More information on design options are covered a little more over on the Design page.

So what do we do?

In the basic sense it’s residential kitchen & bathroom remodels.
In the broader sense, it’s the full scope of concept to completion of a project.

That can be simply providing the design services for permit issuance, consultation for an upcoming project, acting as the general contractor, or providing the full design and being your contractor. We’ve performed full home remodels, energy upgrades, custom vanities & kitchens, additions, summer houses/garden offices and provide designs for much more custom work.

A benefit of working with an all encompassing view is being able to design and build whatever is on the paper - and if we can’t find a coffee table for your new living room, a bed you like for your new primary bedroom to match the overall decor, or a kitchen table to fit the space, we design and build those furniture items. We can design and build a custom table or banquette seating for your kitchen remodel, we can match the walnut from your new kitchen cabinets to build a hallway credenza, and we can build a solid hardwood bed to last generations.

With having somebody on board providing a set of fully detailed drawings, specified and designed to your exact taste, the options are endless - your project may require more, or it may require less. The very definition of ±.
